• Zero-Latency In-Memory Timers: Cooking timers and conversion lookups must never block on network handshakes or remote API calls mid-prep.
• High-Contrast Glare Tolerance: Screens must prioritize high-contrast typography readable from across a brightly lit kitchen counter.
